Starting as the solo project of lead singer and guitarist Tom Levitt, NMA has evolved with help from lead guitarist Luke Basso, drummer Juraj Pisko and bassist James Olson. NMA make pensive shoegaze with a fuzzy edge, sad but hopeful. The band is gearing up to record their 5th record in May and will be returning to The Noisefloor to work again with Jordan Koop (Orville Peck, The Courtneys).

Hailing from the bustling post-punk scene of Vancouver B.C Canada, DOUR is a force to be reckoned with. This band does not struggle to encapsulate the raw essence of the city's enigmatic, grime-laden streets. The band's urgent, energetic, and ardent sound is not immune to emotion with the harrowing and authoritative vocals of Zak Hilmi. DOUR is backed by Zak’s abrasive guitar riffs, Patrick Hamil’s relentless, high energy percussion, and Gabe Jacob Ferman’s unique yet grounding bass lines. Influenced by post-punk pioneers such as The 101ers, Television, Joy Division, and Gang of Four, as well as contemporary Canadian counterparts We Are the City and Preoccupations, DOUR navigates between the grit and nostalgia of the past and the unexplored sounds and styles of the newest wave of punk Their recent single, "Dirty Tricks," garnered local success, selling out venues across Vancouver, setting the stage for potential North American and international tours. As the anticipation builds, DOUR is gearing up for the release of their debut full-length album this year, hitting the studio in February. Prior to this milestone and an upcoming show with Australian juggernauts DZ Deathrays, the band will treat fans to a "double single" preview from the highly anticipated debut album.

Consisting of core duo Eric J. Breitenbach and Greg Valou, Vancouver-based New Age Doom is a genre-defying project that thrives on spontaneity, experimentation, and intensity. Their music blends genres like drone metal, progressive rock, jazz, dub, and global styles. Their latest album, “There Is No End,” features Norway’s Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser on lead vocals and leans into a more melodic direction while retaining the band’s signature freewheeling chaos. In 2021, their collaboration with Lee “Scratch” Perry resulted in a poignant and critically-acclaimed swansong and tribute for the late dub legend.
