Smoke gained global notoriety in 2019 as champion and undisputed breakout star of
Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow by showcasing his authenticity, lyricism, and diverse musicality.
His initial offering after the show, Inglewood High EP, hit the Billboard Heatseekers and
Independent Charts - landing at #3.
His debut full-length album, Black Habits, boasts features from Snoop Dogg, Jill Scott,
Ari Lennox, his brothers SiR and Davion Farris, and mother, Jackie Gouché. The
album’s critical acclaim earned a 2021 GRAMMY-nomination for Best Rap Album, and
he received a second 2021 GRAMMY-nomination, Best New Artist. Smoke also
received a NAACP Image Award Nomination for Outstanding New Artist.
He released War & Wonders in 2021, spotlighting Inglewood’s internal wars, being in
love, and battling self when divergent forks in the road appear while on the continuous
journey of learning, self-discovery, and evolution. Guest features include John Legend,
Ty Dolla $ign, Fireboy DML, and others.
In the midst of lending his creative prowess to various features and numerous
GRAMMY-nominated projects between his own albums, Smoke earned his third
GRAMMY-nomination with Robert Glasper’s Shine ft. Tiffany Gouché.
The untraditional triple-threat is excited to hit the stage and invite fans into his world
while he performs fan favorites, his biggest records, and new music off of his upcoming
3rd full length album, Wake Up Supa, before hitting the small screen in Mayor of
Kingstown and publishing his first novel.
