Performing stand-up for close to thirty years, Tommy Tiernan is a
comedian, actor, chat show host, writer and podcaster who has won
international awards for his comedy and is one of the most widely
respected comedians in the business.

Tommy was voted Ireland’s Funniest Living Person and holds a
Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy performance
at 36 hours and 15 minutes.
He has starred in ten hour-long stand-up specials and has made
multiple television appearances, including three on Late Show with
David Letterman.
On April 30, Tommy premiered his tenth hour-long stand-up special,
Tommy Tiernan: Tomfoolery, available to rent or buy worldwide.
Tommy stars as 'Da Gerry' in the award-winning Netflix tv show Derry
Girls and can be seen in the Hulu TV series, Conversations with
Friends. Tommy's film and theatre career spans over 25 years
appearing in movies such as Dark Lies the Island, the Oscar nominated
Wolf Walkers, and on stage most recently with Druid in Sive.
The eighth season of Tommy’s critically-acclaimed TV show, The
Tommy Tiernan Show, ran from January through April 2024 on RTÉ One
in Ireland. In this improvised talk show, neither Tommy nor the
viewers are told the identity of the guests until they are introduced.
