From writing songs in her bedroom to sharing her love of music with the world. Aqyila self-released her first single, Vibe for Me (Bob for Me) and gained over 1 million streams within a month. Following the success of the song, she then partnered with Sony Music Canada in 2021. Toronto-based vocalist and songwriter Aqyila received a JUNO nomination for Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year. Aqyila has garnered more than 10 million streams on Spotify worldwide and over 3 million creation posts on TikTok backed by notable artists such as Bebe Rexha, Lizzo, and Monica. Now, she's back and better than ever kicking off with her first track Pressure from her debut EP set to release in early January 2023.
