EYEHATEGOD is an American sludge metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana who formed in 1988. Since they first emerged, they have been a soundtrack for the ugly masses They have become one of the better known bands to emerge from the NOLA metal scene. As of 2021, the band has released seven studio albums. With their latest release, it's clear that EYEHATEGOD hasn't slowed or mellowed with time, but rather has done the opposite. They play disorienting, uneasy listening - music that still hurts.
