Julie Kim is one of Canada’s top comedians, and an international headliner. She is a Canadian Screen Award-winning producer and writer. She has been a writer for hit TV shows such as Run the Burbs, Kim’s Convenience and Still Standing. Julie also wrote for Simu Liu as he hosted The Juno Awards in 2022 and 2023. Julie performed across Canada on Rick Mercer’s Stand Up for Canada tour, and the CBC comedy special is now available.

One of Canada’s top comedians, Julie has toured nationally with Rick Mercer, performed at Just For Laughs Montreal, and headlined four sold-out solo shows at Just For Laughs Toronto. She has appeared at major festivals including Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Vancouver, SiriusXM Top Comic, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

A regular on CBC’s The Debaters, Julie has also appeared on Kim’s Convenience, Run the Burbs, and Still Standing. She turns family chaos, immigrant-parent pressure, dating, aging, and career anxiety into sharp, joyful comedy.
