It’s Vancouver’s longest-running, best-kept secret! Inspired by early Letterman and the classic variety show format, Paul Anthony’s TALENT TIME combs youth talent shows and unique corners of underground entertainment to create an innovative, strange and hilarious show that also accidentally builds connection and reaffirms the human spirit.

Come experience what the Vancouver Sun called a "Phenomenon"! Paul Anthony’s Talent Time is a live comedy/variety/talk show performed in the heart of East Vancouver. Featuring a live house band and co-host Ryan Beil from The Sunday Service Improv. Now in it’s 18th season, this entertaining and unique two-hour live show is also a fast-paced, half-hour television series broadcast on the Novus Network locally and globally on YouTube.

The show pays homage to the classic variety show format, mixed with elements of the prevailing talent shows of today, but with a focus on local personalities and novelty entertainment. Another distinction is that it’s not a competition; it’s a celebration!

The show’s focus is not on famous people from faraway lands, but rather on fascinating humans who could be your next door neighbour. What makes Talent Time unrivaled is the diversity of authentic talent. You just never know what to expect.

In the past 18 or so years, the country's best comedians, hand bell choirs, laughter therapists, Chinese lion dancers, chainsaw carvers, double dutch skippers, high school drumlines, ping-pong champions, martial artists, animal acts, ventriloquists, barbershop quartets and Alan Cumming have all shared the same stage.

In this talk show format, you don’t just see these unique artists perform. You get to meet and form a deeper appreciation for them. They pride ourselves in featuring fascinating people, and we see their audience as an extension of that. We don't think there is another group of people anywhere more supportive, open minded and eager to prop others up than a Talent Time audience.
