Hanggai's music is deeply rooted in the grasslands, the Mongolia ethnic culture and Mongolian people. Hanggai's music originates from the Mongolian pastoral life. They present a boundless landscape which they are proud of and cling to, they sing out the nomadic people's passion and melancholy and they deliver their respect and the sense of belonging to the nature through their music.

Hanggai has combined the traditional Tovshuur, Morin Kuur, Xian Zi and electric bass, piano, bango and drums.
