Janky Bungag is sweet and spicy wrapped into a bluegrass pickin’, good timin’ man. Hailing from Vancouver, Janky takes the every day ins and outs of living in a city and transforms them into a song that each person can relate to. From love to lust, heart break to smoke break, he touches on all the emotions with a laid back lighthearted energy.

With every strum you’ll hear a little bit of bluegrass. With every note you can catch a little bit of country. In every song you get a cocktail of all of Janky’s musical inspirations: Merle Haggard,David Allen Coe, and Willie Nelson to name a few. Janky is an escape from the norm of what people think country music is. Some say it’s got shades of punk influence.
