The concert features two superstars Serrini and Enno Cheng from Asia, representing different Chinese languages: Taiwanese & Cantonese, performing alongside three local Canadian artists.

WHAT'S JADE MUSIC FEST?

Jade Music Fest is an annual music event which aims to create visible stages and bridges for underrepresented Chinese-language artists who have a desire to perform and write songs in the languages connected with their heritage. Its goal is to make Vancouver the North American hub for Chinese-language music through the elevation of IBPOC artists in BC. This year will mark its third edition in Vancouver, taking place at various venues across Vancouver from November 6- 9. More information: https://jmfa.ca/

WHO’S SERRINI?

Serrini is a singer songwriter based in Hong Kong. Her lyrical eloquence has gained her a cult-like following across the Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking communities. Serrini’s catchy music spans across genres of indie pop, folk ballad, and electronica according to the creator’s mood. Fans have likened her concerts to religious experiences. Serrini has a doctorate degree on cultural studies in music.

WHO'S ENNO CHENG?

Enno Cheng, a singer-songwriter, actress, and writer. She’s released four albums, Neptune, Pluto, Dear Uranus, and Mercury Retrograde, since her debut in 2007. She has been invited to perform internationally, such as SXSW, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

In 2022, Enno released Mercury Retrograde written entirely in Taiwanese in collaboration with producer Chunho. The album encompasses multiple influences; electronic and rock with a foundation of folklore, creating an innovative genre of Taiwanese Hokkien music.

All tickets for this event are General Admission. Patrons requesting accessible seating should purchase a General Admission ticket and the venue will be able to accomodate on the night of the event.
