Yann Tiersen today announces details of a new album, <a href="https://mute.ffm.to/yann115182518">11 5 18 2 5 18</a>, set for release June 10 via Mute on CD and digital platforms. A limited edition clear double vinyl format is scheduled for September 30.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
This new, unexpected release from Tiersen was born from experimentation in the studio ahead of a performance at Superbooth, Berlin&rsquo;s modular and synthesizer festival. With more time than usual to prepare for his live set, Tiersen found himself in his Eskal Studio on the French island of Ushant completing the story he started with 2021&rsquo;s Kerber &ndash; presenting a beautifully textured and highly immersive electronic world.

Using samples as his source, Tiersen has resampled, reprogrammed, and recomposed the pieces, creating entirely new tracks unrecognizable from their original versions.
&nbsp;
To launch the new album, Tiersen has shared two tracks: &ldquo;16 15 21 12 12. &nbsp;2 15 10 5 18,&rdquo; where treated piano samples bend and drift through hypnotizing, pulsing electronics and &ldquo;11 5 18 2 5 18,&rdquo; which begins with sparse, textured electronics propelling the track forward as elements from the original start to gradually open out and spiraling piano patterns give way to pulsating beats.

Foil Arms and Hog is an Irish sketch comedy group comprising Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor McKenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog). The group performs on TV, radio, the stage and online. The trio write, shoot and edit a new sketch every week in their office, releasing it for YouTube, Facebook and Instagram on IGTV. Foil Arms and Hog do not have a specific genre, and make sketches that are often observational and occasionally topical. Popular sketches released to YouTube include 'When Irish People Can't Speak Irish', 'An Englishman Plays Risk', 'WTF is Brexit', and 'How to Speak Dublin'. Foil Arms and Hog also perform live shows, primarily in Ireland and the United Kingdom, but also in the United States, Australia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and a number of runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The group's name evolved from nicknames each of the members had for each other, Foil (Sean Finegan) being the comedy foil, Arms (Conor McKenna) was 'All arms and Legs' and Hog (Sean Flanagan) because he ostensibly hogged the limelight.
As of 2020, the group had just under a million likes and follows on Facebook and 500 thousand YouTube subscribers. As of October 2020, the group had 517 thousand YouTube subscribers and 114 million views.
They met each other in University, (where they did Engineering, Architecture and Genetics), formed the group and have been touring our live shows in Ireland, the UK, the US and Australia over the last nine years to audience and critical acclaim (no really).
