Thee Soreheads
Thee Soreheads are a female-fronted punk band from Montreal making loud, bratty, no-bullshit music about misogyny, toxic masculinity, and the general absurdity of being alive right now. Rooted in riot grrrl, garage punk, and pure DIY chaos, they play fast, loud, and with something to say. They sing mostly in English, sometimes in Spanish, and are increasingly bringing French into the mix.
Their debut EP, I’m Not Your Fucking Sex Doll, dropped in 2025 and put them firmly on the map as one of Montreal’s most exciting punk bands. That same year, they opened for GrimSkunk at a sold-out show at MTELUS. Since then, things have only gotten louder: in 2026 they played Taverne Tour, won the Audience Prize at Cabaret Festif!, played a sold-out headline show at Foufounes Électriques broadcast live on Radio-Canada, and brought their chaos west to Sled Island in Calgary.
With sweaty live shows, sharp hooks, and zero interest in playing nice, Thee Soreheads are building something raw, urgent, and impossible to ignore.
