The Boojums

The Boojums are a three-piece rock band hailing from Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. Formed in late 2024, they quickly made waves by uploading grainy, self-recorded live VHS performances to YouTube and Instagram, catching attention with their infectious hooks and raw, no-frills energy. Their sound is a throwback and a leap forward—melding ‘60s garage rock, ‘70s punk, ‘80s alternative, and ‘90s power-pop into something undeniably fresh.

Their self-titled debut LP captures the band in full force: a stripped-down, emotionally charged ride through personal growth, heartbreak, love, mortality, and life in small-town Nova Scotia. With wailing vocals, snarling guitars, thunderous drums, and filthy 8-string bass lines, The Boojums deliver rock and roll that feels both timeless and vital.
