Samantha Parton

Born and raised in Vancouver, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Samantha Parton founded acclaimed Canadian alt-folk band The Be Good Tanyas in the late nineties with Jolie Holland, Frazey Ford, and Trish Klein, performing on stages ranging from backyard house concerts to The Royal Albert Hall. In 2017, Parton and Jolie Holland released Wildflower Blues, an album which wove together influences spanning jazz, blues, country, folk, rock, and the great wide history of American song, into their own kind of soul music. Sam is currently working on a solo album, for release in 2026.
