Mima Good

Mima Good is a multi-genre artist & multi-instrumentalist born and raised in New York City. She studied music at La Guardia Arts and Wesleyan University, playing in different bands from a young age until beginning her solo project. She is a classically trained vocalist with years of experience in jazz, pop and rock technique.

Her first EP, Good Girl, was co-produced with Roger Moutenot. The bluesy songs tackled topics of pain and healing, empowerment and feminism, earning praise from the likes of FADER Magazine. She then self-produced her most recent album and first full length, Hydra, combining elements of jazz, electronic dance, and rock. Called "Empowering and heart pounding" by BTR Today, Hydra is a genre-bending collection of songs about youthful woes from a troubled world. the 12 tracks feature live and electronically programmed sounds that merge bedroom pop and studio sensibilities.

Mima Good was voted NYC’s Best Emerging Artist in Deli Magazine and her Tiny Desk Submission was named Entry of the Day. She has toured the United States with her original music and inventive arrangements of classics.

Mima Good will be accompanied by Chris Colton on piano and Georgia Weber on upright bass.
