Michaela Slinger

Michaela Slinger is a pop-adjacent artist and "legendary songbird in the making" (Elevate Music Project) creating music that is equal parts coming-of-age and old soul wisdom. Every song is crafted to combine her stop-you-dead vocals with unflinching, poetic observations about how relationships expand and contract within 21st century pressures. In a sea of attempted virality, Michaela is a life raft—she creates a musical experience that is at once timely and timeless. Her debut LP 'Panorama' (604 Records) was released in April 2021 to editorial playlisting, CBC, commercial and college radio play, and charting on Stingray Canada Indie. She ended as a Top 5 Finalist in the 2021 CBC Searchlight competition. Michaela is currently writing her second project with collaborators in Vancouver, Toronto, LA and Nashville.
