Formed in Buffalo, New York, in the late 1980s, Mercury Rev has evolved from a experimental sound into one of alternative rock’s most beloved artists of cinematic, psychedelic pop.
Best known for their 1998 masterpiece Deserter’s Songs, the band is led by the distinctive vocals of Jonathan Donahue and the multi-instrumental skill of Grasshopper.
The band continues to make ground breaking music and are best known for their songs "Goddess on a Hiway", "Holes", and "Tonite It Shows".
