El Cousteau
El Cousteau, a Washington DC native, began his music career in 2015, quickly making a name
for himself with the release of singles and projects such as "Chef," "Straight Drop Season Vol 1
& 2, " and the highly acclaimed "Dirty Harry."
His innovative sound and compelling lyrics garnered attention from prominent publications like
the Washington Post, NPR, and Pitchfork. El Cousteau has received attention from notable
artists including ASAP Rocky, Teezo Touchdown, MIKE, and Earl Sweatshirt, further solidifying
his place in the music industry. Known for his unique vocals and hard-hitting lyrics, he has
carved out his own subgenre of rap, known as JAMMER MUSIC.
Beyond his musical talents, El Cousteau is also deeply involved in fashion and entertainment.
As his own stylist, creative director, and trendsetter, he continues to push boundaries and set
new standards. His multifaceted
approach to his career demonstrates his versatility and commitment to his craft. El Cousteau
recently released his EP titled "Merci, Non Merci" November 2024featuring single "Words 2 Live
By" with Earl Sweatshirt. This project had the support from the likes of Tyler the Creator,
Billboard, NPR, amongst others.
Cousteau aims to make a significant impact with his next project "Dirty Harry 2" which will
release on Sept 10. This highly anticipated release featuring collaborations with ASAP Rocky,
Earl Sweatshirt, and Niontay is expected to further elevate his status in the music industry and
