Denise Julia

Denise Julia is a singer, songwriter, and producer, born, raised and based in the Philippines. Denise began singing and writing songs at the age of 13, and was heavily inspired by the R&B and Pop sounds of the 2000s that played non-stop in her childhood home TV. After a string of music releases and cover videos that garnered millions of views on Tik Tok, Denise caught the world's attention with her viral song "NVMD". The song catapulted her into the spotlight, solidifying her as a rising star in today's global music landscape. "NVMD" is the fastest OPM (Original Philippine Music) song by a Filipina to 100M streams on Spotify and it reached the Top 20 of Spotify's Global Viral chart.

In October 2023, Denise collaborated with Filipino-American producer and rapper P-Lo for her single "B.A.D.", off her debut EP, Sweet Nothings (Chapter 1). The single soared into Spotify Philippines Top 10 (peaking at #7), reached the Top 50 of Spotify's Global Viral Chart, and took over the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 Chart peaking at #4. She was the most listened to Filipina on Spotify for 3 consecutive months following the release of her EP, and is currently still one of the most streamed Filipinas in the country with over 2M monthly Spotify listeners. She was also selected as one of Spotify's RADAR artists of 2024. Denise's debut EP, Sweet Nothings (Chapter 1), released in early November of 2023, and was on multiple end of the year, album of the year lists including Billboard Philippines, Complex Philippines and "B.A.D" was nominated for the 2024 Philippines AWIT Awards for Best R&B Song. After a string of incredible independent success, Denise officially made her way to the U.S., signing her first major record deal with EMPIRE and releasing her first EP, Love Again. The signing marked a significant milestone in her career, making her one of the first few Filipina artists to sign with an American record label.
