For two decades, Delhi 2 Dublin has been at the forefront of South Asian fusion music, architecting a global bass sound they call “Subcontinental Pop” – a high-energy blend of Bhangra, electronic, hip-hop, reggae, and Celtic influences that refuses easy categorization.

In 2026, Delhi 2 Dublin celebrated 20 years the way they know best – making new music and hitting the road. Their 20th-anniversary tour has taken them across Canada, while “Smooth Operator,” released in May, and “Dil Nachde XX,” a 20th-anniversary reimagining of their very first single, released in July, mark an exciting new creative chapter. This fall, they’ll bring the anniversary year to a close with a final run of shows, culminating in a special hometown concert at Vancouver’s Hollywood Theatre on November 7.

What started as a one-night collaboration at Vancouver’s Celtic Fest in 2006 has evolved into one of Canada’s most globally touring independent acts, igniting iconic stages including Electric Forest, Glastonbury, Burning Man, Bali Spirit Festival and Woodford Folk Festival, and moving dancefloors from Mumbai to Nevada. Known for their high-energy live shows, Delhi 2 Dublin delivers what fans describe as “90 minutes of freebasing joy.”
