Death Tennis

Having first met at Humber College, one of Canada’s top music schools based in Toronto, Talya Amira and Marco Petrella regularly spent time playing music together with various local acts but it was only once they graduated in 2020 that they truly began to unearth the true Death Tennis sound.

Montreal-based indie / alternative duo Death Tennis came to life in April of 2020, when Talya Amira and Marco Petrella found themselves inspired to make the most out of a worldwide lockdown.

Death Tennis explores the intricate dynamics of relationships, the profound impact of change and the complex navigation of transition periods.

Death Tennis creates a fusion of various indie aesthetics, inspired by The Beths, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, and Broken Social Scene. Both Marco and Talya perform as multi- instrumentalists and vocalists, combining their inspirations and innovation to the stage for a unique musical experience.
