Cody Lawless

Cody Lawless is the indie-alternative incarnation of singer/songwriter Cody James Henn. Born and raised in Mission, BC, Cody toured North America under his former project KNOWN. and garnered over 30 million streams. Now, Cody is transitioning from his previous sound to one that embraces his authentic self.

With clever storytelling and jangly guitars, Cody Lawless transports the listener to feel the emotion of his experiences with sincerity and enthusiasm. Drawing inspiration from indie contemporaries like Mark Foster (Foster the People), Sam Glick (Plums & Test Subjects), and Ben Reed (Skegss), Cody has crafted his unique vocal style switching between falsetto and a deep tone. Since becoming Cody Lawless, he signed with MNRK Music Group to release his debut album Sunshine State of a Happy Camper, has toured across the UK/EU in 2023, and North America in 2024 on opening for Powfu.

His sophomore album is due out this year featuring his latest single, Willy Wishbone feat. Elijah Blond.
