Caveman & The Banshee

Imagine Nina Hagen and Lemmy backed by Public Enemy’s drum machine on a heavy metal-meets-techno acid trip. Nanaimo BC’s Caveman & The Banshee (aka Dave Read and Valentina Cardinalli) have been blowing up stages across Canada since late 2021 with their lethal psychedelic electro punk –meets-psychedelic performance art live shows. Their 2nd album ‘Born To Kill’ was released in March 2025, with contributions from co-producer Rob The Viking, cellist Lori Goldston (Nirvana Unplugged) and Theremin Man (Stephen Hamm, Slow/Tankhog).

Caveman & The Banshee have already steadily toured across much of Canada, destroying stages alongside such diverse acts as Mudhoney, Bob Log III, Pink Mountaintops, Devours, Dead Bob, Forbidden Dimension, Fucked Up, Frontline Assembly and Willie Thrasher. They will continue to do so in 2026 and beyond.
