Base Collective

A six-piece combo of live instruments and vocalists—pulling members from Port Renfrew, Sooke and Shawnigan Lake—Base Collective is the new group on the South Island scene. Touching on genres from rock and blues, to hip hop and funk, Base Collective deliver a blast of old school vibes in a new and unique way, with an energy and passion for performance.

In their first calendar year as a band, and having already performed at festivals including Song and Surf Festival, Laketown Shakedown, and Sooke Music Festival (among others), Base Collective are moving fast to get their music in front of audiences. With singles 'Dreamers in a Rut,' and 'Groovin at Wil,' out now on all streaming platforms, and new music well on the way, fans can enjoy the original works of Base Collective anywhere the heart desires.
