Davin Greenwell, otherwise known as AFK, has been DJing in the Pacific Northwest since 1998, when he was found frequenting the decks of underground parties and full moon gatherings in the woods. Quickly, he brought these sounds to the radio waves in Victoria, first on community radio and then commercial radio for a couple of years, placing him at the receiving end of many demo recordings from producers. From this, he co-founded Pacific Front Recordings with fellow producer Formulate, releasing scores of original tracks and remixes that received play all over the world. The label continued along with an early podcast of Pacific Northwest sounds until 2009 and since then, AFK has found himself remixing bands like Jets Overhead and Vince Vacarro, while also collaborating with Dustin H on ambient, dreamy and cinematic sounds as well as his brother Anand (Tiebreaker, Astrocolor) when the opportunity arises. Most recently, he has had a long-running club night with fellow Victoria DJ Thom Banks named Too Much Love, which brings forward the Hoosier side of his repertoire, which continues to evolve.
