Unleash The Archers

"A Canadian heavy metal outfit based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Unleash the Archers deliver a lethal fusion of melodically charged death, thrash, and power metal. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Brittney Hayes, the band issued a pair of albums independently before inking a deal with Napalm Records in 2015. They found commercial success two years later their fourth LP, Apex, which was the first installment of a two-part concept epic that concluded in 2020 with Abyss.

Evoking names like the Agonist, Blind Guardian, and Kobra & the Lotus, Unleash the Archers was founded in 2007 by Brittney Hayes, Scott Buchanan, Grant Truesdell, Andrew Kingsley, and Nikko Whitworth. The band released their full-length debut, Behold the Devastation, independently in 2009. The group turned heads in 2011 with the science fiction-themed concept LP Demons of the Astrowaste, which they quickly followed up with a three-song EP, Defy the Skies, in 2012. Three years later, Unleash the Archers inked a deal with Napalm Records and released their third studio long-player, Time Stands Still. The concept LP Apex, also issued by Napalm, followed in 2017, and marked a return to the narrative-driven style of Demons of the Astrowaste. The band concluded the tale in 2020 with the release of their fifth full-length effort, Abyss."
