Along with being a key component of Shoreline Mafia, L.A. rapper Ohgeesy also operates solo, hitting hard with slick flows, catchy choruses, and songs marked by clean production and party-starting beats. His braggadocious personality took center stage on his 2021 debut album, Geezyworld.
Born Alejandro Coranza, Ohgeesy was one of the founding members of Los Angeles rap collective Shoreline Mafia. The group began in 2012, and by the end of the 2010s they had gathered significant buzz for their fun, unhinged, and often dark sound. After appearing as a featured guest on other artists' material, Ohgeesy offered up his first solo tracks in 2020, beginning with the bass-forward single "Bandemic (E.E.D.)." Several other singles preceded Ohgeesy's debut album, Geezyworld. Released through Atlantic in August 2021, the set featured guest spots from DaBaby, YG, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and others.
